What are closed symbols?

Closed symbols are symbols that belongs exclusively to a certain language or culture.

Why shouldn't you use closed symbols?

It's offensive & disrespectful to use closed symbols, and it's a form of cultural appropriaton. Cultures aren't aesthetic! Seeing your culture being used as a way to make someone's profile "pretty" can be pretty hurtful, especially when your symbols & your language have been mocked a lot already! Please refrain from using them, there are many alternatives!
